smoke.....please help

Default smoke.....please help

i have a b18c turbo and recently it has started smoking out of the breather filter on the valve cover. i can not really figure out why? i am also seeming to burn coolant. thank you for any ideas.

what color is the smoke? assuming its blueish, this means you are burning oil from somewhere. could be valve seals, piston rings, or the seals in the turbo.

to eliminate turbo from the list of possibilities, disconnect the charge piping to the intercooler and see if theres any oil whatsoever in the piping. If so, the seals on your turbo are blown.

As far as valve seals and piston rings, smoke would noticeably be coming out of the exhaust more so than the breather filter.

One other thing, check to see if there is oil around the breather, below it and what not. oil could just be leaking from the breather or surrounding area and burnin up on whatever it is landing upon.
