Default Cost For This....

Alright, I just recieved a check in the mail for $7,500 For back childsupport ( Dead beat dad ) from like 3 years ago. My mother said i could have it. Heres what im looking to do with it. Blow my DX engine up and swap it with a B series motor. Then Turbo it. How much do you think i can get this all done for?

looks like you have just enough money...the engine w/ everything and the swap should be around 3grand or so....and a turbo kit around 4grand..

Man everybody likes the LS/VTEC CRVTEC combo. But damn its expensive to do right. If not your gonna blow it up.
With 7G's, get a head swap and then Apexi (or Greddy) kit. Get a good FMU, and you can get 200hp on stock internals.

On a side note, I read on another site an alternative.
B16A1 engine, bored and sleeved to 86mm, forged rods/pistons. That'd be about the price of a B18C1. B17 crank, bumping up displacement. So for about 4G's, you'd get a nicely built 180/190 hp engine with good reliability (since the B17 crank is a VTEC crank and the B16/B17 deck heights are identical, the rods would be off the shelf parts.)
