Default 1/4 mile question

what do u think this car would run in a 1/4 mile??

DETAILS...
1995 Del Sol S via 128,000 miles
TENZO R CAI
AEM pulley kit
AEM cam gear
TENZO R catback exhaust sytem
10mm plug wires

then full body kit, and 17 in. rims...weight

what kind of difference would it make if i put a SOHC VTEC head on it????

I bet it does a low 17. Seriously. That engine is weak. Then add in the weight of the kit and the 17's.

As for the SOHC VTEC....I personally wouldnt do it, and instead save up for a swap. You will see some didfference, but I don' think it would make you happy.

eh, body kits aren't that heavy, but still, you're right. 17's are about right. MAYBE high 16's. The rims and the engine kill you. The nice thing with the mini me swap is that you get better compression. But still, it most likely won't do **** compared to the si engine. Honestly, get a b18b and you should be doing a lot better, and it's not all that much to do the swap.

how cheap is cheap?? , honestly i dont think that would be the most wise investment you will still have to run the ecu, manifold, etc off the old motor you wont notice a huge change,, save up for the b18b, b18c1 ,or better yet b18c5,, if you cant wait i have seen jdm b16a's full swaps sell for less than a grand

you want to run the p28 ecu or else you need a vtec controller... You would want to use the d16z6 intake manifold, and you can either get headers, or the si exhaust manifold... Might as well just throw the whole engine in... Not just the head.
