water temp question
Well, installed a water temp gauge VIA upper hose splice sending unit adapter.
Now it is refusing to open up thermostat and flow fluid.. so I hooked up my cluster ( was out of dash because I was running wire back there) and after idling for abit it says the engine is pretty hot...
Bad thermo? The lines are still cold when its saying its hot.

well.. I dont know how that would've effected the flow of water.. because its just a splice (thats not leaking, or getting water)
It's a B series.
Ok, take the thermostat out, and put it in a pot with some cold water, and a candy thermomiter (a regular one will break), put the pot on the stove and turn it on medium, watch the thermostat and temp. it should open up when the temp gets higher. The temp all depends on what Degree thermostat you have, some open at different tempuratures, I think you might have goten the wrong thermostat...
