We have a cleaner for the aircraft exterior, it doesent eat off paint, its an alkaline based cleaner, so it is still dangerous, but it will remove anything, grease, bugs, burnt on oil, even baked on rubber from the landing gear, I would recomend that for the rest of the engine bay.

P.S. I think the strut bar looked beter unpainted....

what a fecker of a job..... cleaning aeroplanes!!! it would take hours and then they would just fly it sumwhere eles and imagine the bugs at 600mph .............christ
