HELP! Where to get suspension bushings for '95 Civic EX
I need to know where to purchase all suspension bushings for a '95 Civic EX w/ABS (auto). I would like to get oem rubber at a decent price.
The big bushings in the rear control arms (?) are torn almost completely through, and all of the others in the rear and front suspension components are dry-rotted. I assume this will cause uneven tire wear, excessive body roll, and poor handling. Can anyone tell me if these bushings are pressed in, or if they just pop in?
I need to get this done ASAP since I need new tires desperately!!!!!

I suggest getting aftermarket bushings since you're doing all that work. Modacar.com or any online store should carry Suspension Technologies bushings.

The OE bushings are pressed in with an outer metal sleeve (at least the bushings inside the LCA's are). I'd imagine Honda might sell you replacement bushings but I don't know for sure. If your concerned with handling and willing to sacrifice some ride quality, polyurathane bushings like those from Energy Suspension are a good upgrade but can be challenging to install.

Everything can be purchased seperatley from the dealer, except the rear trailing arm bushings. That has to be bought as a unit(about $250 new). Energy Suspension makes all of these, including the trailing arm one. Price the OEM ones online seperately and as units, aftermarket and dealer, then you decide. The bushings are not that hard to get in and out. If you go with poly ones getting them in is easy and if you ever have to do it again, even easier. You can buy seperate pieces for the poly parts or the whole kit. Kit doesn't include the trailing arm one though, they're about $30/both.
