Default Suggestions?

for a high HP producing N/A B-series?

Honda-Challenge does not allow f/i , and I want to stay with a B, so anyone got any suggestions? Any combo , and any motor, as long as it stays within B series: )

Thanks.

Why do you want to stay with a B-series? I would think a K-series would be better starting point now that you can get mounts for them into EG's and EK's.

take a closer look at the honda challenge rules. You're limited to OEM parts below the deck... not just n/a. Basically, that means no forged aftermarket internals, sleeving, or anything like that.

Strictly following the rules, I think the best b-series you can come up with is an lsvtec using b16b pistons. Or rather, a b18c with ls crank, rods, and b16b pistons. I haven't checked lately to see if they've modified the rules since the release of the k-series mount kits, but if they have not, a k20a (jdm r) will definitely be the best you can do.

Thanks for the input guys.

A CTR would rock... but I don't think I could live with right hand drive, for that car though I might live with it..

Just think, having to go in reverse when picking up your carls jr. :reechy:

they have a passenger-side drive through at good times h:

seriously though... alphaxxn, how much behind the wheel time do you have in a competition scenario? Honda Challenge is some real serious wheel-to-wheel competition... definitely not something you can just jump into.

I'd stick to b series. K series comes with a weight penalty and some guys in echc have had trouble with k20 rods.
