So this is probably going to sound like a stupid question to most of you but I will ask it anyhow. Is it extremely difficult and expensive to convert an automatic 94 HB to a Manual tranny? Yes, I am aware that it is probably cheaper to just buy a new HB however my HB was never meant to be fast. Now that it looks nice I am starting to regret having ever put money into it.

BtW I am not a complete noob when it comes to the street scene, I have just been out of the game for about 4 years. My old car was a 97 Civic 4 door w/ a b16a1 and jackson supercharger. yes it was a manual tranny

So with that being said, any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.

there is probably at least 5 posts about this, I think pretty much all the posts ended with the conclusion that its not worth it

 

That conversion is easy man all you have to have is all the parts. I converted my Ek to a manuel like 2weeks ago. I put a B18C1 with Type R Tranny. The Job took a day and half but if your just changing the tranny it should take you a day. You need the manuel tranny,shift linkage, the manuel pedal, n ur goin to need the line that runs from the pedal to the tranny the name slip my mind but if you go to urbanracer.com and post up that u need the parts from auto to manuel u'll get quick replys the pieces shouldn't run you over $175.00. After you've the complete swap all ur gonna have to do is rewire some wires so u can take out your key and for the reverse lights.
