Near the top of your thumb and other four fingers, there is something called a "Nail". Use this "nail" to free an edge off of the sticker and then when it is free enough, take your thumb and your index finger and wedge the hanging piece of vinyl between them as you slowly pull the decal away from the item it is bonded to. Pull extremely slow on tinted areas.

yea, um, yea but, er. i was kind of expecting a more elegant solution that wouldnt require me to lean over the car for a long time peeling away decals with my finger

They sell a spray at pep boys that removes stickers and doesn't harm your paint, you can just spray it on while your car is wet and also, there's this little rubber thing that's similar to the rubber thing on squeegees that is used to scrape the stickers off of your car.

For the tint. I'd go and buy tint remover. It's compiled of a tint remover solution that you mix with soap and water. Spray your solution all over the sticker and use the same rubber scraper thing to scrape the stickers off of your tint. Be very careful so that you don't scrape off any tint or scratch it.

if the stickers are vinyl use a hair dryer to make the stickers easier to work with

I used a heat gun on my old pin stipes still kinda marred up the paint though. Plus if they have been around for a while then you will be able to tell the difference in the shinyness of the paint.

To get the residue off, try "Goo Gone" or WD40 actually works pretty good, just don't get it on any cloth or it's a pain in the @$$ to clean it off.
