my gut instinct would say get the b18b, it's a torquey bastid

I know you said you will stay N/A, but these motors are GREAT for turboing, so just reconsider one last time. For a basic turbo and some good fuel tuning you can hit 225hp and similar tq without breaking a sweat.

ls turbo hatch = OMG fun

im gonna say Supercharged B16A. prolly mostly cuz it isnt done that much. and it'll make up for the torque.

if turbo wasnt soo much cheaper than SC than I think it would be a lot more popular.

That would cost as much as a turbo b18b and put out less power. h:

I would have to agree on that. The JRSC isnt that great of quality either these days also

basically, if you're working with a budget, forget sc. JRSC isn't worth the money, and vortech and procharger cost over $3500 (although they can make some tasty power).

well, i've decided to go with the b18b. but since my budgets kinda tight i wont be boosting till next year. so hopefully an ls eg hatch will just as hard as a b16 ek coupe.
