Default Vtec Wires

How hard is it to install Vtec Wires when u do a motor swap. I have a 92 Civic D15z1 motor and i want to do a D16z6 motor swap but i dont no how to install the vtec wires that come with the motor since its a vtec.Thanks

if you have a VX (D15Z1 engine) the swap is really easy. almost plug and play if you get the EX engine harness.

check my site for info

you move one wire.... on the VX(chassis side of the plugs) you move C129 pin 6 to C102 pin 2, plug in the EX harness and the P28 and your done.

the DX isn't wired for VTEC. You'd need to add two wires.

The difficulty isn't in adding wires. It's finding the pins that go to the ECU harness. If anyone needs some email me.

All 92 Civics actually have the VTEC wires in place in the harness.
