Default Yet another problem..

About a month ago my car was towed away by the city. My wife owed a few tickets and did not tell me about it. Ehhhhh Im pissed. Anyways, I went and picked it up. Paid blah blah. As I was driving the car it felt kinda funny. I tell my father in law "I think something is wrong" But then again I said maybe because I have'nt driven it in a while my mind is just playing tricks on me. So I drove the car home and really did'nt need it. So a week later I jump in start it up and put it into reverse. Car did not wanna move at all. It's an auto. Im gonna convert everything over to stick But funds are tight due to life and this dahm city towing my car. So anyways I said **** something is wrong. Jacked up the car and I saw that the tranny had a nice fat crack on it, well actually a small chunk ripped off. The car kills about 1 quart a week of ATF. I was woundering if I can clean the area out and slap something on it to give me about a month or so of time. The spot is in a pretty ok place. So I just need something to hold me over till I do the conversion. Let me know what you think If I get this crappy cam working I will take pics. Thanks.

sue the city

I've heard that crap before, about peoples cars being impounded and the people at the impound f*cking them up. Nothing but bullshit, if you ask me

I'm surprised that tranny still worked :eek4:

Yeah it works fine. But In N.Y. you can only claim something within 24 hours if the car was in the pound. Ohh well.... It will make me save up a bit harder for the 5 speed.
