Default 96-2000 manual tranny work in a 94' Coupe

My cousin has a 94' Ex coupe with bad syncros. I have a 2000' EX manual tranny in my garage and I am pretty sure it will fit but just thought I would ask. Will it work?

I know the tranny will bolt to the engine, but I dunno if it will bolt up to the car without special brackets or something...

Busy as hell man, this CRx has been taking all my time and money. My father in-law also passed away with no life insurance so I had to come up with like $7,000.00 to get him the proper burial he deserved. That money was to go to the new house but I was happy to be of service to my father in-law since he was such a great person. I'm now building the CRX for "Grandpa Wheels". Once the rex is painted you'll see her a lot out at river city.

I guess I'll have to yank the Z6 tranny out and compare them huh?

I just have heard stories about the way the auto and manual tranny's bolt onto 5th gens, and how they both attach differently... But I know on 6th gen's, they both use the same bolts...

sorry I couldn't be of better help..

too bad I don't go to river city raceway :chuckles: I don't belong there

It should fit fine, but you'll probably have to jack up your car and take measurements to make sure.

That's been the way of Honda autos for a while, but autos are also bigger and a little more difficult to mount the same as manuals.

It bolts right in ya just have to use the upper trans mount from the car onto the 00 trans. Other than that it's a direct bolt in.
