Default Catback

I bought a catback exhuast for an 96-00 EX. However I have a DX. The person who I bought it from said that there was simply an extension that needs to be put on to make it fit... I was wondering if anyone knew if that extension has to be welded on or is it bolt on like the rest of the exhuast. If anyone knows the answer please leave a response.

Take your car to any muffler shop with the exhaust you bought. They can extend the EX exhaust to work for your DX.

Well I have actually already purchased the catback for the ex and the person of whom that I bought the exhuast from said that he had the extension that is supposed to make it fit a dx. I was just wondering if that extra part that need is bolt on like I know the rest of the piping is or is something that Im going to have to weld on my car.

If he already has it, ask him how it's going to be put on. Most of the time, unless someone already made one to bolt up, you're going to have to make your own or have someone make it for you.
