Default brake lights

So I've hit a snag in my quest to fix my brake lights. I thought it was just the fuse/fuse clip that was the problem, but it seems to be making contact and all the other things that run on that fuse are working 100%.

Anyone know possible reasons why my brake lights won't turn on when I hit the pedal?

Checked all the bulbs and made sure no wires were cut and the fuse probably isn't the problem.

Car: 95 Civic dx

Any help would be appreciated

Check your brake light switch.

Never heard of it. Think I could find it in the helms manual? If so, what section? electrical?

make sure you have the dual filament bulbs (1157 i believe) 1156 are single filament.

well, the bulbs were working before, and none of them looked burned out when I checked em, but it's just that they all stopped working at once.

For a while they'd work every once in a while and now not at all. I just replaced the bulb in the rear window and it's not working either. I'm gonna do that brake light switch test and then if that doesn't work I'll replace all the bulbs, then... I dunno. dealership haha
