no problem....

the center consol isn't a direct swap... You can put the 99-00 ac/radio/plastic trim into the dash slot, but it won't fit perfect.

swapping out the dash isn't very fun either... you need the blower, air ducts, etc etc etc... Its a one or two day job....

the 96-98 crap grows on you plus, I like the ac controls better... dunno why....

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but i picked up a 99 EX cd player console for 20 bucks, and I need help installing it. Can i get some advice for that?

I'm not positive....

but every time I've tinkered with the HU, I've noticed a second harness in there. It kinda looks like the harness for the keyless system, but its kinda taped down. Check if that plugs into it. Got any pics of the backside?

oh wait, I just relized its a 99-00 cd player... h:

where do you want it, up top or on bottom?

it just plugs right into the factory harness.

oh ok, do i have to take off the entire control unit? or will the original audio unit just slide out?

if you haven't removed your HU before, you need to gain access to the back to loosen a nut that holds it in.
