Default Car wouldnt start for a couple minutes

Today when I got out of class I went to start my car and it didnt start. The key beep slowed and came to a halt and the ventilation system made some slow whirring noises. I figured my battery must of died. I popped my hood and heard the key beep again, tried starting it and it fired right up. I dont know what the deal was. I just recently changed my plugs and wires, and reset my ecu so I thought it might be my fuse. :dunno: Any suggestions?

check your wiring obviously since you said you pop your hood and it started up. The jar from popping your hood and moving your car enough to reconnect some wires? just a thought

i don't think it's a wiring issue. perhaps the battery.

check the battery connections. make sure they are clean and tight.
that's going to be it... but in just in case it isn't you may want to have your battery checked out at a local auto parts store.

are you getting any trailing or corrosion from your positive? If so then you need to tighten that nut thats on the positive side.

well if its not happending after you cleaned you most likely had a poor connection (i.e. loose nut.) or corrosion was horrible enough to insulate connection, and thus closing the hood probably jogged something .

Glad to hear you have it working now )
