No offense, but what do you want them to do for you when they don't make them anymore? Not like they're going to make two rims for you when they don't have that design set up to make... It sucks, yes, but really, what did you want them to do?

No, I didn't want them to make me two new wheels. That seems kind of assanine doesn't it? All I asked was for them to take the whole set back, since after all I did buy them as a set of 4.

Now I'm stuck with having to pay: for the tires to be removed, shipping costs to send the wheelsback, buying two new wheels, paying shipping again, then spending another 80 bucks to have the tires remounted.

The clear coat is only peeling off the polished lip. It's too much of a costly process to get them power coated since they would probably have to be sent somewhere.

I had a '59 VW Bug and had the entire pan (which is the frame and the floorboards) powdercoated and it only cost me $350. Think about how much a rim would cost. I suggest you look into it. JMO

I have, and the place quoted me 40-50 a wheel. Then there's shipping which is going run about a 100 bucks.

Haha. Well it's either the GT-P's or the new Racing Hart CR's. It depends how much I have to spend at the given time.
