whats the diffrence?

im new at this honda thing so this question may sound really stupid but whats the diffrence between sohc vtec and a dohc vtec? thanks for any help

also the DOHC models came with far superior flowing heads, higher hp from factory, better upgradability, but cost more.

DOHC = Dual overhead cams
