Default Looking at a '93 ex coupe.....engine code??

On saturday, i'll be driving to a nearby town to look at a white 5 speed '93 civic ex coupe. what motor was usually shipped in these? B series? dohc/vtec? I'm buying this for my winter car, it's got 130,000 miles on it, and it's selling for about 2,700.00 Pretty good I think, assuming there's no rust/body damage, and all service intervals have been kept. Just wondering what motor i should be looking for under the hood. anything else i should have an eye out for on this specific car?

Just incase you wanted a second opinion, MPerson is 100% correct.

$2700 is a fair price, too, as long as it isn't blowing smoke or has any body damage.

I tried looking it up, but all the sites I found listed motors for the hatch & 4-door. Is there anything worth doing to these motors? or should I be looking at a b series swap next summer? is it worth turboing a sohc vtec? i know that the vtec in these is designed more for economy as opposed to the performance aspect of the DOHC. is there any way to make the VTEC more useful? bigger cam for more of a punch when it hits?
