ZC engine help OC California
I drove to Nippon-Motors today (www.nippon-motors.com). I wanted to get a 2nd gen ZC engine for my car, but not sure if possible. I searched online, countless forums, even went to 2 shops to ask for info to swap my engine. Still no luck.
My car is a 93 civic DX automatic 2D. I want to keep the Auto. Transmission, but want something better than a 92hp D15. I got a bit over $1000.
My question is this: Can a 2nd gen ZC engine be swaped into my car?? What do I need?? The engine I will buy from Nippon-Motors, what do i need besides what they give me?? I have considered the LS-vtec and the D16z6. But those have vtec wiring you have to mess with. I also want to keep the automatic setup.
My offer: Anyone that have done this kind of swap before or know someone that are capable of this, let me know. I'm at OC California, AIM: gh3ttotactic5 , email: thuynh29@yahoo.com
Willing to pay for labor.
