some more...

(Rapfix lock on steering boss)

(steering wheel on steering boss)

overall impression... I like it. The release puts another 20mm of space b/t the boss and the wheel...acting like a spacer without having to add one. The ball lock system feels more responsive (could be placebo). Now...still gotta get the damn horn button to work... grr

what the big differences between the tekniq and the rapfix?

Ahhhh never mind.

that "boss" piece i suppose is what you put on in place of the wheel when you pull the steering wheel off.

is each system unique like the tekniq street setup?

What'd you do with the Tekniq setup?

And the horn... if only I was closer, I'd help...

the Rapfix uses a ball bearing system to lock into place. the Tekniq is a snap in system.

the lock goes over the steering hub and locks into place. each system is unique. i tried a different rapfix key in mine...it does not work.
