Hemi and Honda
If memory serves right, hemi was a big thing at nascar way back when (late 60s-70s). Dodge designed an engine (the hemi) that blew the doors off ford and chevy. Nascar was seeing dodge win almost every race and later outlawed the hemi motor. Dodge didn't like this and pulled out of nascar. Only recently did they re-enter nascar (10 years or so ago) and recently cam back with the hemi motor in later model cars. Hemi used to be in the old cudas and chargers, very much ahead of its time back in the 70s but very fast and still efficient. Now, you have smaller motors putting out high hp numbers but still lack the torque the bigger motors now put out. Anyways, I guess I'm just trying to say hemi is a dodge thing and many of the engines now are designed with similar features of the original hemi (previously stated). Just the nascarinfo is interesting...

Modern Hondas use pentroof head designs. That is superior to a hemispherical head, since you can't practically fit more then two valves in a Hemi combustion chamber.
Don't worry, Honda heads are still a better design.
The Hemi was great in it's own time... it's just playing off it's old reputation to sell vehicles now.
