Default vtec or si

can a civic be an si and a vtec or is it an si or just a vtec ? i always thought that they were different, can ya'll help ,me out

an Si is a car model, VTEC is an engine feature, 2 complete diff things.

so can it have both ? i was wondering because a girl that works with my girlfriend has a black civic that says vtec on the side and si on the trunk

In fact, I do believe all Si's have VTEC (or I-VTEC) at least 5th gen and above. h:
