Default Quick Question

Hi there, I'm new to the forums and I have a question that may seem ignorant, but I just need a minute of your time.
I find the rear seats in my 98 EL are very cramped when the front driver and passenger seats are at a comfortable position. Above the rear seats, there is a keyhole with the words "Unlock Seats Back" and the letters L and R which I would assume stand for left and right. Is this to push the seats back? If so, how do I do it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you want to turn down the left seat, turn the key to the left position, and pull it forward. For the right seat, its the same thing. You can also do it without the key by pulling on the little tabs on the backs of the seats in the trunk.

THat's to bring the seats forward so that the trunk connects to the cabin. For use when you need ro put big things in your trunk or even stuff like snowboards or instruments.
