Default Does something look a bit... off?
Within 30 seconds of starting the car with the new alternator.

saw that happen when my friend over tightened the belt and there was no deflection

Yea, I helped a friend put in his alternator, he over tensioned the belt and the alternator pulley bent like yours, we just got a replacement for it, and made sure it was perfect before running the car.

You didn't hear that alternator squal like a pig? Usally when u over tighten the belt u strain the bearing and it squals. Did it hit ur frame too??

No squeal, plenty of deflection. When I took it off the pulley was loose on the spindle.
