Default Suspension kits

I have a 97 civic and had a coilover suspension but after about a year the struts are gone and am just riding on the coilover, i was going to get a new suspension but did not know what i wanted to get i was thinking about some tokico shock with some springs but was not sure, my budget is about 300-450 and its going to be used for street use and would want my ride to be pretty low, any comments or suspension kits that have worked for you guys would be greatly appreciated thanks.

for a $450 total budget, you'll have a hard time getting any shocks that will withstand the abuse of a "pretty low" ride hight for an extended period of time. Used springs are a good way to save some money if you KNOW how many miles are on the springs and how they were treated. Used shocks should be out of the question unless they're rediculously cheap. Considering your goals and budget, I'd look into KYB AGX shocks.
