Default Crank Sensor

Hey guys.. i've posted this in the integra forum as well but nobody seems to be responding there..

can someone help me to locate my crank sensor on the B18??

I believe they're only on OBD II motors and it attaches to the front of the oil pump behind the crank pulley and reads a gear wheel attached to the end of the crank. If you pull the crank pulley off and remove the lower timing cover, you can't miss it (although I doubt a B18A will have one).

My wiring diagrams show Crank sensor wires in multiple locations so there has to be one on there!.. thanks for the info.. i'll check that out.

obd1 motors do not have them. This is what I have been told anyhow.

True story.

If you have an OBD2 motor (96+) then it is connected to a "U" shaped piece that installs around the timing belt sprocket on the crank. You'd have to remove your crank pulley and lower timing belt cover to see it.

well thats good to know!..

but it brings up another question.

On my wiring diagrams for the B18a1 out of a 90 teg.. what are the crank sensor wires for ??
