Door doesnt lock w/o the key...

if the locking "button" is flimsy when you push it to lock the door, then I know what's up. There's a little plastic pin type piece that attaches the locking mechanism rod to the actually locking "button". that plastic piece tends to break where the locking mechanism attaches to it. (I've been through a couple on each door already). If I can get pics when I get home, I'll post them. If you got to a junk yard, you can get a replacement(s) if no one has beat you to the punch. It's good to have extras. I'm not sure if you can get them, through Honda without buying the entire locking piece that attaches to the door.

just pull the door panel off! its so simple and then you'll see what were all talking about. and if you can't finish it/don't have the part just leave the panel off. you can drive around without the panel. i have for a while now cuz i had to do like 4 projects all involving the panels to be off.

it's stupid easy to remove your door panle man! 2 metal screws and one plastic one. then you pull the panel off.

if the drivers side door is the one with the problem, can u use a passenger door for the pieces?
