Default need help 95 civic

I know i need new struts on my civic but the question i have is its lowered with coilovers.. I went to my local shop and he said it would be around 1300 for new struts since its lowered?? I dont know much about struts/suspension but this sounded extremly high. Is this really what i am goin to have to pay? the guy didnt seem to know much about what he was sellin he gave me at least four different estimates.. i jus needa to know how much its gonna be for new struts.

That is about twice as much as what you can buy them for on the web. is it $1300 installed atleast, or just for parts? If it is a shop doing it, I'm assuming they have lifts, power tools, etc... It should be a pretty quick job, so labor shouldnt be much.

$1300 is crazy. That is really absurd. For $1300, you can buy one of the top of the line full coil-over systems. New struts should cost you no more than $500

Are you talking about replacing them with OEM, or more aftermarket struts/coilovers? Really depends on what he's putting back on.
