Default switching dash trims

i have a 97 honda civic but i really like the 2000 civics dash. Is there anyway i can change these without heavly modding anything such as the air condition controls and etc.???

Had the same idea, but no idea either. Are the manual and electronic controls compatible?

Seems like the almost continuously variable fan switch wouldn't work from the 99-00 model.

You hit the nail on the head, the manual levers/linkages that control the air system on the OBD2A civics would require a lot of effort to convert to a 99-00 dash. Unless you replaced all the blower motor stuff, from a wrecked car.

I actually have all the parts except the blower box wiring harness. and Ill be doing this in the very near future. It can be done but requires that the center vent guides in the dash be replaced with the 99/2k, the selector box and heater core must also be swapped out also.
