I have a 1994 honda civic cx with a b18b engine. Last weekend on my way from Rochester to Rhode Islands, my fifth gear popped out. This happened in Albany(half way there), three hours into driving, so I decided to turn back home .

Right now everytime I shift into fifth gear they keep popping out. Sometime it stays in for like five seconds and sometime longer.

Is there a way to fix it? or is it worth it? Any advices would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!!

 

it has to be your 5th gear syncro

 

shoot...be glad its only your 5th gear!! My 1st, 2nd and 3rd pop out when im goin slow enuff.
