Default Turbo fixed...

D'oh! I'm pretty dumb. I was getting crappy spool/boost because my wastegate arm was extended a hair too long and holding the wastegate open a crack all the time. Now it hits full boost around 3500 rpm in second. What a rush at only 6 psi!

Funny thing is, I did boost leak testing all weekend and fixed almost all the leaks as well. Which is a good thing, even though it wasn't the problem. At least it wasn't wasted time. My DSM BOV was leaky though, so I crushed it. Doesn't leak now, but it does sound like crap! So I have a Greddy Type S on the way ... more fun coming this way to the tune of a tuned 8 psi SOHC... we'll see how it goes!

what are you using for boost control right now? just using the stock internal wastegate?

what are your plans for future boost control?

Yep just the internal wastegate. Plans are for a simple DIY manual controller. Actually, it's already done, just have to put it on.

Did you boost a y7 or y8? Or did you get a b-series?

Great job. I'm glad you got it worked out. Get your fuel trims absolutely perfect before you push 8 pounds.
