condenser fan removal
#3
i just need to remove the condenser fan motor cause it keeps blowing fuses. i put a 12 volt source directly to the fan plug with a fuse in betwwen the power line and it blew so i know now that the wires of the fan must be connecting somewhere. i need to take out the fan not the condenser , also i was in an accident so i cant take out the condenser

There are 4 bolts holding it to the condensor. 3 of them drop behind a metal tab/finger sticking out of the back of the condensor and are hold by a lip at the top (so the fan has to lift about an inch to free those tabs to actually pull it away from the condensor to remove it) and the last one is in the bottom right (if looking from the front at the windshield) that just bolts to the condensor like normal (straight thorugh). The block also has another bolt for the A/C line coming in. It's real tight getting in around there and it may not even come out without the condensor if the rad support is pushed back. You can see those bolts pretty easily and should be able to visualize how it comes out. There's also obviously one wiring harness plug that needs to come off but I'm assuming you've already messed with that.
