Default Need Help With Accident

I got a call last night from my body shop person saying that he got into an accident with my car. He crashed into 3 wooden stakes I dont know how bad but he said that the radiator is cracked and my right fender, headlight are gone. He also said that my front bumper is gone. I dont care about the bumper because I have a body kit that is going on. He said that the car didnt get pushed in that bad and he said it's fixable. He is going to get the car checked to see if the frame got bent just on the safe side. The body shop guy is a friend and the accident wasnt his fault. He is going to fix everything for free ( from the other insurance company). I was just wondering if my car will drive the same seeing that my car was hit in the front. Ive heard that when a Honda gets hit in the front the car never runs the same again.

dude, dont settle for just repair. Take a look at it, and if its bad enough, ask them to pay you for the car. Dont compromise because of their stupidity. say you want nothing to do with the car now that they crashed it. At least thats what I would do.

The body shop guy is a friend we switched cars until he was done. He was driving home from the mall and a car came out and nicked him in the front right side and he ran into 3 wooden stacks. He says that the damage is easily fixable and that he would have it fixed by sunday or monday. So i am thinking im gunna a couple of new parts out of it so I dont know what to do.

sounds like the other driver is responsible. You didnt say he was a friend, in that case, be nice!

I am going to be nice because he is fixing everything for free and putting it all on. He also said that it would be done by the end of the weekend or monday the latest. I was pissed when i first found out though.

If he wrecked it hard enough to tear off the front bumper and headlight, hole in radiator. What happened to the A/C condersor? How much inner sheet metal was bent? What about the hood? I would not suprise me if he cuts corners to save himself money.
