yah i think thats what i've decided to do. i'm gonna round off the corners a bit to neaten the peices up, have them welded on and i'll paint them gloss black.

he sounds pretty confident that this will be safe, and he's probably fine. He said him, his dad, and his friend all together couldnt even budge the seat. Welded, it will just be like an extension of the stock brackets. I'd think that it will be fine, better than just leaving them bolted onto the brackets.

Hey man its easy as hell to take the rails off. I did it with my bros Del Sol seats. On the left side there are 2 bolts and 1 nut and on the passenger side its 1 nut and 2 bolts. If u haven't done it b4 it might take any hour, I can swap both rails for both seats in about 45 min.

you have to swap over way more than rails.


you have to take apart the whole seat.

i'm trying to be open minded especially when it comes to the safety factor.. but i still do not understand why my fabricated parts would be such a safety issue?? especially if they were welded on.
