Default 95 Civic with type R motor question

Do you think it is a good price for a 95 Civic with a type R motor in it with 40k miles for 7900?

'95 Civic what?

I'd have to say no too... even a good list of mods wouldn't sell me for that price. :dunno:

only if all the mods were ones you liked and the car was in absolutely great shape. Even then, I'd hesitate. Basically, if somebody else modified a car, you can bet your rear they didn't do it just the way you like it.

No, unless it was turbo'ed and modified to run 11's.

This sounds like a typical case of "$3000 car + $4900 engine = $7900 car" which is NOT how it works.

Depends.... What shape is the car in? Can you build the same car for that price? You could buy a pos, dented, rusting civic for $2000, and do that swap for about $5500 extra. If it was in good condition I'd consider it. Of course you could always build your own car if you want to spend more.
