Default motor problem

well im on motor number 2. the first motor went in real smooth and i got it started on the first try. then started to put the coolent in and it was never filling up so i pulled the dip stick out and all the water and coolent shot out like a fountain. so i pulled that motor out.(and yes the head gasket was on right). the next day i went and bought a d16z6 motor. i had to put the clutch and tranny on this motor. this motor went in smooth too. i didnt have the distruter hooked up yet but i wanted to see if it would turn over, and it didnt. i then pulled the tranny to see if something was not on right. it all looked good so i put the tranny back on. tryed to start it again and got nothin.
so my qustion is does anyone no what is wrong. every time i turn the key it sounds the starter goes put the fly wheel is stoping it. i checked mt belts to see if they were too tight and there not. it turns over a little then stops then truns alittle then stops then it just gives up. then i felt the starter and it was very warm. any ideas??

Try to manually crank it with the crank pulley bolt. If it moves around and around it could be the starter. If it doesn't move, then it's something internal or the flywheel. Did you try and crank it when you had the tranny off?

Sounds like a frozen engine. If it doesn't turn by hand (which should be very easy,) take out the spark plugs and look in each cylinder with a flashlight. If you see water or rust, you're out of luck.

yes i have cranked it when the tranny was off and when it was on. when i pull it tords the front bumper it wont move but when i push tords it back it moves after a click noise then i can move it both ways. i think the click noise is the starter going back in cause i think it was out that is why it wouldnt move tordes the front bumper.
