Default ABS really standard??

Ive been looking for 96-00 civic ex coupes lately, and I was wondering what are my chances of getting an ex coupe with ABS. I talked to a local Honda dealership, and the guy working there told me that all ex coupes have ABS as standard equipment. Is this true, and if its not, how can I find out if the car has ABS other than by looking at the VIN number. Also, does anyone know how many coupes came with ABS in 96-00?

Pop the hood and look behind the passenger headlight. If there's a bigass boxy thing with brake lines coming out of it, bingo ABS.

I thought ABS was only standard on EX sedans, and optional on EX coupes

It's not standard. If the EX has ABS it will have 4 wheel disc brakes.

How is it not standard on the 96-00? I have a 95, and I'm about 95% certain that it is standard on the EXs in my generation, sans maybe the 92s.

My friend has a 96 couple, she has ABS.

According to Honda's official site, ABS was optional on Coupes with Automatic transmissions, and standard on all Sedans for the 6th generation
