After driving in gear, when i coast, my civic sometimes idles at 1100 rpms, to make it idle normally (700 rpms), I have to step on the gas in neutral to make the needle bounce back to idling at 700 rpms. But it would idle around 1100 rpms again if i was to put it back into gear and gas it. Its like the rpm is stuck unless i gas it up and let it settle back to normal idle.

 

My civic idles higher when in gear. I thought that was normal.

my idle is messed up it bounceds from 1000 to 1500 or 1500 to 2000 or 2000 to 2500, when i first start my car or after sum hard driving, (i was told it could be humidity), mybe my radiator is bad

 

auto or standard? My 5sp idles at 5-600 when warmed up, 1000-1100 on a cold cold start and in between depending on the temp. Keep in mind idle on an auto still has a load on the engine so the rpm should be a little higher i'd think.
