Default VTEC question

I was wandering how to find out if I have a VTEC. If I don't, is there a way I can make my motor have a VTEC?

I have a D16Z6 motor on my car.

Thanks,
Lambert

It does not say VTEC on my valve cover or any where on the motor. Are you sure my car has VTEC, if I do is there any where I can check?

Thanks,
Lambert

If it has D16Z6 stamped on the block it IS a VTEC motor. Just because it's not on the valve cover doesn't mean anything. Here's the specs: http://www.clubcivic.com/board/specs.php. Just search for D16Z6 and you'll see.
