Clutch noob question
I figured someone would have said it by now,...
Personally I don't think it's the clutch. But I'm not a mechanic.
If you hear it when you corner in tight places it's probably the cv joints in the axles.
It's easy to check those if you can get the car up, cause all you have to do it find out if the boots around the joints are still intact. If they have come loose or the rubber has split, the chances are pretty good that you need new cv joints.
I can say that putting on new axles aren't really all that bad, if you have a lift you can use, and it would be smart to look into doing it, if you need to of course, because the labor would be unreal.

the click goes off when I release the clutch after I shift to first or second. There was only one clicking sound at first but now I hear the clicking sound twice in a row (2 consecutive clicks). clicking not grinding. I dont hear that clicking sound when i'm turning or cornering tho. The sound is definitely coming from the front and under. I dunno what it is but its buggin the fuk outta meeh lol. Im thinking about just replacing my clutch. Its kind of a loud click cuz I can still hear it when my windows are up. it might be something else but its definitely coming from that area.
any ideas? suggestions?
