Default Do all 96-00 civic auto tranny jerk at times?

I notice lately that on my gf's 99 civic coupe it jerks at time...like when she put into drive and push the gas pedal it kinda of jerks a little then when u drive it doesn't do that anymore...it happens sometimes...i suggest she change or flush her tranny fluid....would this get rid of the problem? she has 91k on the car...any suggestion or recommendation would help..

Was the car new when she got it or was it used? Change the Tranny fluid and see if that helps although my guess is that may be her gears are worn so it's not engaging properly or it could be the torque converter. In any case, good luck.
