Default turn signal blinkin fast

guys,
both my front and rear turn signals on both sides are blinking fast, i've tried new bulbs in them, and that didn't solve the issue. could it still be the flasher which is bad even though they still blink? thanks for the help.

Did you make sure you replaced them with the same bulb number. Usually a dead or higher wattage bulb will cause the blinkers to blink fast.

check for a short in the wiring, never had that problem but that is what would cause it.

Your flasher is starting to crap out. That is always what happend to me befor it stops working all together or fuses its self together and just stays on. All it is is a piece of metal that bends side to side and after a while it gets weak and is easyer to bend so it goes faster. Replace the flasher and it will solve your problem. Also higher wattage bulbs can burn up stuff if your not carefull, I did that to my prelude tail lights and it was an expencive fix....

here's a run down of of my thoughts...

1. your bulbs are they LED? if so there's your problem, they draw much less current than normal bulbs. either put in the norma bulbs or get a load resistor to make the blinker "see" the right load.

2. are both the front and rear bulbs blinking on each side? if not then replace the burnt out bulbs.

3. have you done anything or changed anything to make this happen?

4. does your hazard switch work? the normal blinkers go through your hazard switch.

5. replace your blinker relay with an OEM one. If you go to an aftermarket parts store make sure to get the one for a honda civic, they are different than the generic ones.

6. if it still does it there is a wiring issue somewhere.

I'd have to say your relay is dead
