Default how low should i go?

i'm looking for some advice on lowering springs....i don't want to slam my EH hatchie, but i want to have a more aggressive look from a height standpoint...i will have some 15x7 slipstream knockoffs wrapped with 205/50/15 rubber....i was thinking of going with a 1.5" drop? its a daily driver and am looking for a good look along with practicality....any suggestions?

*...i did a search and couldn't find exactly what i was looking for...*

1.5 to 1.75 is great for better handling on a daily driver

well, my car was lowered almost what appears to be about 3.5" when I first got it (previous owner scares me after seeing what he knowingly was riding on - apc coilovers w/ one of them having just a cut stock spring on a apc coilover sleeve). Umm, that was way too low, and a terrible ride anyway.

I just today "lowered it" 2.5" from stock in the front and 2.25" in the rear (or vice versa, I forget now). Looks like it'll be plenty of ground clearance, and still "look good" I guess.

Anyhow, I say go with the pro-kit or something like that, a mild drop if any, I'm not really a big fan of big drops and QUALITY suspension pieces is the key. I had a pro-kit suspension on my accord, loved it, actually rode better than stock (i think stock springs were worn though)

alright....so it's looking like 1.5-2.5 is about the majority of range...one other question, do the springs differ from the coupe to the hatch?...like will the spings all fit from the coupe on the hatch?

i absolutely love my eibach prokit, and everyones told me it is a great drop. It's not extreme so it's not bumpy, and evan though my stock shocks have 224,000 miles on them, they haven't shown any sign of problems in three months. your salesman should be able to tell you if the coupe type springs will work on the hatch. they should be pretty much the same tho I think.

I don't know what the specific amount of drop it is, but I have my fender flush to the fender. I'm riding on Skunk coilovers with Tokico shocks. The ride is almost as smooth as stock and I love the stance. Wheels are 15x6.5" with 205/50/15 Yok AVS ES 100's.

I used Tein S-techs 1.8in all around. Nice agressive stance and not to low. Springs only cost me $110 on ebay.
