I am having this life altering decision of CF hoods.....i just spent most my money on new rotors, pads, front bumper, and rear bumper. Now all that is left to do is choose a hood....One of the local shops that i go to would get me a VIS perfect quality cf hood for $400shipped. But then when i think about it i might as well save the extra $150 or so and get a Mugen one. I dunno though....is it worth saving the extra flow to make it look like i am loaded with a BAD ASS MUGEN hood?

 

simply put no... VIS has great quality

 

ehhh, the mugen hood has the cool-ass decal on it

but they're both good quality. Is there anything you want to spend the $150 on? Thats the question you should be asking yourself

ViS isn't that bad of a company....

its not like we're talking about APC or something....

 

VIS has some of the best CF hoods on the market, I just don't see the reason to spend an extra 150 for a mugen hood when you could get something else with that money that you saved.

 

yeah, but its only $150... for car parts, thats not that much of a difference....

again, this is something that he needs to think out. I don't see a problem with either one of these hoods....

 

If the difference is only $150, I'd go Mugen.

ViS is awesome for it's price though.

Dont you have an eg? Mugen doesnt even offer a hood for eg's. Sounds like you are getting took for $150 more.
