thinking about doin a b18b swap into 99 civic cx....does anyone know how hard it is doing the swap or at least..the wiring..? Or i can have someone do it for $2500 for everthing...or is there anyone close to Massachetts that knoes how to do the swap....money talkz.....thankz

yeah, this has been talked about for awhile now.

 

unless you plan to turbo it, don't buy the ls motor. And with some friends help and the right tools you can do the swap yourself, and save like $1000 on install costs. I'm in RI but I dont know of any local places that have motors. I'd say just buy one online from a trustworthy source.

 

Yeah the swap is pretty simple. $2500 is a bit to much to spend for your swap.

 

2500 for everything sounds good. That is if its the complete swap with ecu, harness, axles, etc... plus install.

But 2500 plus install is too much. You can get that motor for around 2500 shipped from hmotors.
