well, lets pull up the list of competitors again....

Corrola: 130 hp
Sentra: 165 hp
Cavalier: 140 hp
Neon: 150 hp
Focus: 130 hp
Elantra: 138 hp
Mazda 3: 160 hp
Lancer: 120 hp
Ion: 140 hp

ever sit in any of these cars? Personally, I've been in the corrolas, the sentra, the cavi, the neon, the focus, the elantra, and the lancer. I haven't been in the mazda 3 yet (only the protege, but I used to own a 929, and hated it), and we don't have the Ion at our store (one of my jobs is Enterprise car rentals, so I get to drive alot of different cars).

out of the cars I've driven and listed above, I would have to say the only one with an interior even close to nice is the Lancer. Toyota's interiors are too boring. The sentra has nice pocket pouches, but they've had problems with the interior trunk popper, plus funny seats. The cavi has the interior of a car from the early '90s, with the only props I'll give it being the steering wheel. The neon is overpriced now, in addition to engine quirks and lame options (for instance, the interior trunk popper is optional). The focui (focuses? ) either had strange interiors (see: older focus) or stranger exteriors (see: newer focus). As for the elantra, I dunno about you, but I'd never be caught dead owning either a hundai or a kia.

the lancers are actually kinda nice.... But mitsubishi has a shadey history ( from Mitsu selling their cars to people who can't afford them, making them plentyful on used car lots, to hiding recalls). I don't think I'd ever own one....

The new mazda's are trendy.

the only cars nicer than honda, IMO, are BMW's and above :chuckles:
