Hi,
I have a 98 civic ex coupe...problem started today morning with the power window on the driver side getting stuck halfway while going up...i dont know...it doesnt budge beyond that point....it goes down fine and again up till that point....could somebody lemme know as to what the problem cld be...also how do I remove the door panel? any help wld be appreciated....

your window probably got disloged off the track. all you have to do is remove the door panel to get access to the track. loosen the bolt that secures the track in place then place your window back in the track. also put some silicone spray on the track.

to remove the door panel.. remove your speaker cover then take out the screws that are there and you have to disconnect your speaker. take out the screw/disconnect the window control tray and also the take out the screw behind the door handle and disconnect the power locks.. once you do all that you have to pull on the panel to get it out.

 

thanks for that...i think its exactly that...removed the door panel and the window seems to have slippped off from the track....it got dark so i stopped after removing the panel...will loosen the window bolt tomorrow and try to get it back in...thanks again...will post after thats done
