Default more help

Well finally got everythings hooked on for my turbo charged civic, I don't have a guage, so I don't know if it is boosting. can't hear anything cause I still don't have my downpipe connected to the cat yet.

How can I tell if its boosting. also the blow off vavle makes NO noise, I haven't put in the check valves yet. So I know I should see the check engine light.

What should I do?

I apologize for the smartass response but...

How can you tell if it's boosting? Well, is the car any faster?

What should you do? Buy a boost gauge and finish putting your shit together. I assume if you didn't even buy one of those, you probably didn't do much for engine management, so you might want to go get the thing tuned before you blow it up.

bwahahahahaha Spood, man, exactly.
Get a ****in down pipe on it, get a boost gauge, get it done before you drive it, annoy your neighbors, blow your engine, etc.
I can't help but laugh, especially since you said you have it all hooked up, yet you're missing a ton of shit that is crucial to a turb setup.

Well first of all let me clarify. Downpipe is on just not welded yet thats in the process. I still have to wait for my guages in the mail. But I'm still concerned about the bov.

just came back after taking my vehicle to the shop, Figured I'd let the pro's do it. They said since the downpipe was left open there was not enough back pressure to operate the bov, does that sound correct??
